Polo Tournament Wed 22nd Apr

Hi Folks,

Us lot from Durham Uni need to get some match practise in before our inter-uni tournament next weekend, so we have organised a casual polo tournament on Wednesday 22nd April at the Stockton Water Sports Centre.

It all be casual, players can play on multiple teams if needed and swap about.

Currently Durham City Canoe Polo team, 2 Newcastle Polo teams and 2 Durham Uni teams are coming. If any of you Tigers would like to put a team in, that'd be lovely :-)

It'll be 6 minute ends (as that's what we'll have to play at the weekend) and the first match will be at 6:30p.m.

I have organised a Tigers team .....

A quick idea ... if you start at 6:30 you will only get about 1 hour and 20 mins light.... If you start at 6 you will obviously get an extra 30mins.....

Yeah def would be better to use the light! It was 6:30 to ensure people can get from further away places like NCL after work but thinking about it both Durham teams will be down earlier and if you guys can make it to the centre for 6 then we can play our matches first whatever happens. I'll see if the other teams can make it earlier as well.

Think that was a long way of saying, good idea I'll change the time!
