Subject: COMITTMENT TO COMPETITIONS Mon Jul 06, 2009 11:48 am
Over the last few weeks Tees Tigers have obviously been attending summer tournaments.
However this has raise quite a serious issue....... The issue is that club members said they will attend tournaments and then when the tournament is almost upon us decided for what ever reason that they cannot attend....
Discussing this with the rest of the committee we feel this is unacceptable because:
1) It lets your team down 2) It makes it more expensive for your team members 3) If the team does not have enough players and the team has to be withdrawn it means the club may have to pay the entry fee wasting the clubs valuable money.
At the next committee meeting this topic will be discussed as to how the issues arising from the above can be avoided as national league dates and teams are being planned.
Please note this is a general observation and not singling out individuals........ It is s serious 'club' issue.

The other issue that this raises is that if we end up having to drop out of a tournament, it is a nightmare for the organiser and doesn't do the clubs current excellent name and reputation any good...
