VEURNE 2010

VEURNE 7th - 8th August 2010 - Belgium

I think those of us who have been to Veurne over the last few years have enjoyed the tournament if not the rather dubious refereeing at times, i would like to compete at this again this year if anyone would like to go.

I will sort out the arrangements for this comp so all i need is a show of hands of people who will be committed to going and not drop out at the last minute.

based on last year i would think that the cost would be in the region of £100 - this will include Ferry Fuel and comp fee and BBQ ticket but once i have a full list of names i can work out the ferry / Tunnel Prices and give a more accurate costing

I would like to book it ASAP as the earlier i book the crossing the cheaper it will be. I will also take money upfront for the ferry/tunnel

so the closing date for this will be 16th April for a list of names

I may not go to veurne as i am playing for GB in another tournament if i dont get dropped so ross wont be playing for us either as he will be in GB too although the rounament in question is subject to cost so i am not certain either way yet.

is there any space to play at this tournament? iv got the whole of august off work?!?

unfortunately the minibus i have free use of last year is being used that weekend

I can have rachels car! are you gonna take the vito for a spin andy? That way we could split the ferrys/tunnel between all of us, then everyone else can split your fuel costs (& mine if i need a splash and dash over there!) That way we should have enough room for tents, sleeping bags, kit and the like.

Right, Ferries are booked.

Thought we'd meet at the centre about 9.00 on the friday morning.

We have 2 cars going, mine & Andy's.

As i understand it Katie and Katie are making their own way there & back, so if you know anyone who wants to go and play we should have a couple of spaces in the cars.

on a more sane note if we all meet at the centre for 9 on friday morning as we have to be away by 9.30.
