booooo!

the bank holiday has been moved this year for the queen's diamond jubilee so it's not th elast weekend in May anymore, so no essen tournament for me.

The comp is on 26-28 May and is the bees knees as far as comps go, so if people want to put a team together, that'd be good, but I can't make it, booooooo again!

mmmm, I'd be up for an early season excursion to germany, especially as it doesnt clash with any worthwhile slalom comps!

If we have enough interest I'll book the holidays at work. Im assumning it would be a friday-monday excursion. I'd probably drive and chunnel it over.

Ladies can't play men's at Essen, so need a ladies team ( meg was on about going...) if you guys are thinking of entering, Alan Vessey can sort accommodation in the sports hall there with the other British teams... Let me know if you want me to arrange things... I've got a copy of the entry form.

It really is the best tournament going and am gutted I can't make it

I'd like to put my name down for one of the teams attending, but will need to make sure I'm not double booked with a long distance bike ride I've committed to at the moment.

If its a choice between biking or canoeing, however, I'll choose canoeing...

I am in providing other members of the A team sign up as I would like to play a high division there really as its a long way and not a cheap tournament to go to

so Ian, Duncan, George get your fingers out and sign up as me and scott are in!

I'd say it's rather unlikely I will be going. Not enough time and not enough money :-(

I'm definitely in for planning early and getting involved next year though.
