Tees Tigers AGM

The biggest event in the Tees Tigers calendar is almost upon us! (although last year it was about the smallest event in the Tees Tigers Calendar!)

The Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday 25th March 2012. The Londonderry Arms in Long Newton has been booked for a 5:30pm start.

This is YOUR opportunity to shape the way that YOUR club is run. There are potential positions the committee to stand for along with discussions about training/events/facilities and purchases. If you are interested in standing for a position on the committee then let any member of the committee know. The positions becoming vacant this year are "Chairman" and "Treasurer"

But that's not it! Which I'm sure that you will all be glad to hear This is an annual event that needs to be spruced up a bit, so we are wanting to make it a bit more of a social event! This year we're having a Curry night with a choice of curries accompanied with rice and chips for a bargain £2. We'd also like to have a recap of the year gone by, so would like to see you pictures and or videos over the year, whether funny/canoeing related or any other club related antics!

Duncan will be hassling you over the next couple of weeks to put together a selection for the evening and there'll be prizes for the best.

Just a quick note.

I intend to step down as Treasurer at the AGM so can people please have a think about if they would like to take over from me in this role. Without a club treasurer it is very difficult to run a club.
