National League 2010/11 A team

Hi everyone,

I've been sent the dates for all the leagues. It looks like the A and B teams have both been put in Div 2. So here are the dates


25/9 Outdoors TBC
11/12 Leeds
15/1/11 Leeds
12/2 Leeds
9/4 Outdoors TBC

Please post any dates that you can't make.

Dave Plowman has been told that the 1st date in Sept clashes with the Slalom Calender.

the september one is the only one that i can't do, but if that date changes i'd rather be able to do that one than the 12 feb as i've got a big birthday on the friday and would quite like a party!

i cant do the september one and also the april one because they clash with work

since dunc only replied as a b-team player, he is available for all of these dates for teh a-team too!

I have just had thisa mail from the league organisor

By popular demand, the first tournament (scheduled for 25th September) has been cancelled.

The national leagues organiser has asked me to ask you to consider dates in october and for a venue, either Tees, Liverpool or Kington's Lido in Hull.

The dates available are:-

2nd October 2010
9th October 2010
16th October 2010
23rd October 2010
30th October 2010

If you could get back to your captain with your prefered dates and venues as soon as possible, it'd be very much appreciated! then captain let me know so i can mail him.

I defo can't make the 23rd but all others should be fine.

I choose Hull as my venue....

i can do the 9th or 16th

2nd clashes with middleton, so no one can make this

9th clashes with Llandysul, which i was thinking about going to, but don't have to...

16th clashes with sowerby, which I wasn't planning on going to, so can make that.

23rd clashes with serpents tail prem

30th clashes with HPP prem

so realistically the only one i can do is 16th, but if everyomne else can the 9th is fine too.

The 9th would definately be the best for me.

Is Hull the best or would we consider hosting this ?

For the record i am not seriously suggestign we want to go to hull. After all, who wants to go to hull?!?

have just recieved this from the league organisor

The first tournament is now scheduled for Sunday 10th October in Liverpool at FOA's facility. All teams are required to turn up to this tournament. If you have a significant objection to this please get back to me as soon as possible.


i am unavailable for this weekend as i am racing in Llandysul slalom

looks like i'm not going to llandysul then!

just thinking about it, October in Liverpool, what a joke, has everyone dug their pogies out!

wonder if ramz still has those neoprene paddle gloves he used to love wearing ....... even in summer!!!

I can't take another Sunday off work. Why would they ask if the 9th is free and then put it on the 10th?!? Why not ask if the 10th is free?
