Abbey Rapids 3rd & 4th Sept

Hi Everyone!

Hopefully all the Div 1s and 2s have got your entries into Nicky now for the next Abbey race (I think tomorrow is the deadline before late entry fees kick in).

As Nicky is still away I'm acting as his personal secretary for a few weeks so wanted to remind everyone that as usual the club needs as many helpers as possible to make the weekend run smoothly (or as smoothly as a Tigers event can at least!).

Nicky will be around the week before the event so please let him know if you can help out with the race set up on the Friday or with taking the equipment down to Abbey.

If you're not able to help with the preparation then there will be ways to help over the actual weekend.

And as always please can everyone stay just an extra hour after the race to take the course and control down and take all the equipment back to the centre?

If we get finished early enough some of us may go for a team sunday lunch on the way home if anyone wants to join us.

P.S. You may have seen that there is to be a race at the Barrage on the 8th and 9th October - Tees Tigers have been asked to run the event. This event shouldn't take as much organising but some helpers will still be needed - in particular though it would be great to have the usual big Tiger presence as this will be a good publicity opportunity for the club. So get it in your diaries!
