| Right, after the weekend's performances and the way that the teams are progressing, there are definately a few people who should be looking at trying to get into the British squads next year... (for the avoidance of any doubt, I reckon it would be worthwhile for any of the A and B teams to go for U21, particularly Scott, Phatt, Ramsey and Slim, I understand that Katie is going to try out for the womens squad and I presume that Chaz may be too. I'm not sure about anyone else's age, sorry if I've missed anyone) Even if you don't think that you are quite ready for the step up to international competition, don't worry, the first weekend is an open selection weekend and there will be a whole range of paddlers. The worst thing that can happen is a weekend playing polo against some strong opposition and not get invited back for the second weekend... A poor performance this year will not have an impact on your chances the following year, so what are you waiting for? | Has anyone completed/submitted the forms yet? Women/U21/seniors all have to submit applications to the relevant person...
Give me a shout if you need any help with this, I'm planning on sorting mine today...

| Well that's the first weekend done and dusted and I don't think that any of the tigers disgraced themselves!
I won the time trial with Danjit only a few seconds behind. Scott came home in a very credible joint 8th, so his hard work is paying off.
I think that the weekend proved useful for everyone and we all learnt a lot from the experience, now lets just wait for the feedback and decisions.
Hope you all found it worthwhile and didn't get put off by the standard. With plenty of hard work you can get there, Scott's well on the way with the fitness, so keep up the good work...
See you at training.

| I don't need to get on the graft, I'm loving keep fit though! I thought it was meant to be an aerobic. Might step it up to threshold for the next w'end, there's plenty left in these guns!
brap brap brap! Or whatever you say in the hood!
