Nippers Yorkshire League

Well done again to the nippers for four enthusiastically fought games at the weekend, all games played were close games however the score lines in one or two did not reflect on this, the team worke well together with Daz shouting instructions fromthe side lines although for once i dont thing he shouted loud enough or mayb he was shouting the wrong instructions, three goals were scored by calum ( with 1 L) however the team worked the openings for him well to shoot past a helpless keeper, at the other end Ben made some great saves when he was in goal to keep us in with a shout of some good results ( mayb we have a fuure A Team keeper in the making)

Things also got heated on the side lines between what has to be said was a POOR decision by a POOR referee to disallow a totally legitimate goal the ball went in off the post and the net bulged only for the ref to say it didnt go in, but it definately did, anyway the lads didnt seem to be as bothered as the supporters and they just got on with the job of playin bumper canoes

so a very well done to every one who played and hopefully next time we will win a few more,
