C + D Teams Nat league Div 4

Entries for the National league season are going off this week

these are the dates for the C & D teans in div 4 north

i know that these teams have not been finalsied but if you think you are in one of these teamsPlease let me know ASAP which dates you would prefer to miss!!!

you attend 4 of the 6 dates

19 sept 09 York 1700 start time
10 oct 09 stockport 1730 start
7 nov 09 York 1700 start
28 nov 2009 stockport 1730 start
6 feb 2010 york 1700 start
6 march 2010 york 1700 start

I can't do the 19th September as i'm slaloming but should be ok appart from that.

I should be able to make all of them apart from the 19th of Sept, as it clashes with one of the prem slaloms.

I am at a sea kayak thing the weekend 19/20 of September. Ros

all looks fine atm 19the is a bit early so might not be around
all the others are in term time so should be good

The first 4 dates are fine. Not sure I can make the Feb or March one's thou (need to confirm)

Also if we can get majority of our matches at York, less distance to travel too.

What does the team think?

I can't do 28th November.
Agree with John, better to have matches in York as less travel

The 19th of sept clashes with the WWPF so I'll be missing that one and Feb 6th might be difficult as well. 7th nov will be tyne tour.

Other than that theres the possibility of more extended work abroad in the last half of the year so just a heads up that I can be sent on trips at less than a weeks notice but I'll play if I'm in the country.

so Francis what is this WWPF that you speak of?

Is it some kind of wrestling thing that you do of a weekend? Or does it just stand for White Water ponytail fun?

the final line up hasn't been decided up on yet, but at the moment definately the ladies team, and we have a local league that you will be in! We have quite a few players looking at national league teams, so maybe not a mens team, but we will see what happens...

oh would rather miss the 7th of november if it is the tyne tour
also just found out that BUCS river race is 28/29th of november

is that too many I can't do?
If so I will probably have to miss out on the 28th instead of the 7th.

nobody knows when the BUCS slalom will be or infact where it will be this year...

We wouldn't have to get ready to go til 3ish on the 7th as its a york one. Having never done a Tyne tour i don't know when it would finish but it will be dark not much after 3 anyway at that time of year. I'd rather miss one of the stockport ones (not bothered which) along with the first date.

its a whole weekend thing...and the party is on sat night. So we'd be messing the best bit.

Also I will be going to Wet West Paddle Fest on the w/e of Sept 19th if my friend doesnt visit.

But if my friend does visit, not sure I can make Oct 10th either....

Priorities please . . . . . bumper canoe competition or far too many drunken students, no sleep, river bashing and camping in the rain??

Even from a plastic boater, that is a no brainer!!!
