Local League Teams

Right then people,

I have finally sorted out the dates and the structure for this years local league, and it has not been easy.

Like last year it will take place at the dolphin centre in Darlington on a saturday evening from 6:30 until 10:30ish

Tees Tigers have entered 4 teams named A,B,C and a youth team and at present i have no idea what the composition of the teams will be as i am sure there will be plenty of interest.

PLEASE POST HERE IF YOU WANT TO PLAY BUT ONLY POST IF YOU CAN COMMITT FOR THE SEASON.

The A and B teams have been put in to Div 1 along with 8 other teams (10 team league)

The 'A' team will play on the following dates : 14th Nov, 5th Dec, 9th Jan, and 27th March.

The 'B' team will play on the following dates : 14th Nov, 9th Jan,13th Feb and 24th April


The C team and Youth team have been put in the Div 2 again this is a 10 team league so plenty of games to be had.


The 'C' Team will play on the following dates : 21st Nov, 23rd Jan, 20th March, and 17th April

The Youth team will play on the following dates 19th Dec, 23rd Jan, 3rd April, 17th April

don't the b and d teams want to play as their national league teams? Captains can you arrange/let us know asap otherwise we're gonna have to have a rethink...

I can play, not 23 Jan tho as maybe clashes with nationals, but not certain yet . . .
I know I'm not great, so don't expect to play much, but I'm available if needed.
Please also shout Mr Rhu if you need any time/score keeping doing. I can manage that job, mostly!!

Not yet I\'m afraid! And as the first one is next week for the Div 1 teams so I thought we should get a riggle on and sort it!

I will voulenteer to collate the teams after people decide if they want to play and their perfered team.

I can olny make the B Team dates so I am going to opt for that team.

I guess its first come first served unless you have a real reason as to why you need one team over another (like me!).

Hope I\'m not treading on anyones toes but its fast approaching and we still don\'t have teams sorted. Andy has enough to do organising the events and Nicky is always doing loads so I\'ll do my bit with this one, someone else can do it next time!

As people put there names down I\'ll edit the post to keep it updated.

With the possible exception of the last date (for either the A or B team) I can make all of the dates. I'd be willing to play for either team if nessacery. but I'd prefer the B.

Had confirmations for b team via txt from Scott, Matt and Sim as well


I've put a few ideas in for the youth team, please confim either way and feel free to suggest others.

Ok i have done some forum editing so there is now only one topic about this.

By my reckoning there is Gail, Chaz and ramsey who have said they can commit. but aren't allocated to a team yet, hope that's all helpfull tonksie and cheers for organising.

would like to play in div 1 but 2 dates for each team, potentially i cant make.

Just spoke to Jonathan (youth) and he said he is defo interested if it's a youth team but will post up himself soon the dates he can/can't make.

Right then you lot i though after our conversations at the pool the b team were all playing together and that me chaz scott sim and an other were going to play as a team. well i can now see where i stand!!!!! no worries i will sort something out and find me a team

C Team and Youth players can have a little think about it but if we can get them sorted out soon as well it will be less stress!

i wouldnt have minded playing, but it would have to be inthe same team as someone headed down from newcastle, so it dont matter too much

Can I play in the C team? Promise ill get some practice in!

Helen, i think gail comes from north of newcastle so maybe you could get a lift, so i'll put you down just incase!
